And now, with the World Serpent unleashed in the Norwegian fjords, Laurits has become a major player in the war to come. Not only will season three continue to follow Magne's battle against the Jutuls, but Laurit's lineage will also play a big role moving forward too. Will he side with the gods or the giants?

Or perhaps even no-one? The answer to this could quite literally bring about the end of days that's long been prophesied in the Norse tales of old. It is not how it is," he said. I always think that the people that are evil are just the coolest thing — or the troubled characters who can't really decide.

So personally, I hope that I'm going to be able to become the devil in season three — if I can. Let me be brutal and dark, and troubled, and sinister, please.

Just let me go [to] the next level in season three. Meanwhile, Jonas Strand Gravli talked to Darkus about his role as Laurits, who became bad guy Loki during the second season and is sure to show even more of his evil side if there is a third instalment.
