It has been claimed that the amount of water which flows through the gorges during a King Tide is equal to the water in Sydney Harbour. Riding the Falls The morning "adventure" is typical of the experience. Passengers are collected from their hotels at 5.

There have been a few changes since you wrote this very comprehensive report on Broome so here are a couple of updates that may be helpful.

Sobranes Gallery now resides in old Captain Gregorys cottage. There has also been huge progressive changes to the Horizontal Falls operation that you mention with several seaplanes visiting daily to moor at the Horizontal Hotel. The purpose built boats carry 26 pax ie.
