The easiest way, is by grinding for the easier Insignias. Like getting a certain amount of head shots. All you have to do for that, is keep shooting someone in the head with a tranquilizer gun. It still counts as a head shot, and you can do it over and over as long as you want. Or completing a bunch of easy mission without healing, or being spotted. When you have higher Heroism, some of the soldiers that were lower rank, even the ones you already have, will actually increase as well when you have high enough heroism.
